Fightstars presents: It's Showtime Sporthallen Zuid was a kickboxing event promoted by the It's Showtime organization. It was the 46th event hosted by the organization and was divided into two parts. The first part featured six super fights, while the second part featured five super fights and a world title fight for the vacant It' Showtime 95 kg belt, all fought under 'It's Showtime' (K-1) rules. The 95 kg belt had initially been held by Tyrone Spong but had been vacated due to him not defending his title for the past couple of years and the decision of Spong to compete exclusively in the heavyweight division (over 95 kg).[1] In total there were twenty four fighters at the event, representing ten countries, with weight classes ranging from 70 kg (154 lbs) to over 95 kg (+209.5 lbs).

The world title fight resulted in the relatively unknown Danyo Ilunga outworking It's Showtime regular Wendell Roche over five rounds, scoring well with counter attacks to frustrate Roche and gain the unanimous decision victory.[2] Other results saw Andy Souwer make up for his recent disappointing performances by defeating 77MAX contender L'houcine "Aussi" Ouzgni by unanimous decision, Artur Kyshenko bounced back from some indifferent results by defeating the always entertaining Gago Drago, William Diender defeated Rachid Beliani in their rematch from 2008, and reigning It's Showtime heavyweight world champion Hesdy Gerges survived a late scare by beating Daniel Ghiţă in a non title fight.[3] The event was held at the Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Sunday, March 6, 2011.
